Job Assessment: Career Orientation and Application Support

Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at clients of the Employment Agency or Jobcenter who want to reorient themselves professionally or need support during their job application process.
It’s also ideal for those returning to work after a career break.

This practical program supports participants in their professional reorientation and successful entry into the German labor market.
Together with experienced coaches, you’ll develop clear professional perspectives, create strong job application documents, and train your communication for interviews.

Duration & Scope

Total duration: 12 weeks (approx. 3 months)

Scope: 300 teaching units (part-time, 30 units per week; 1 unit = 45 minutes)

Internship: 80 hours with regional employers

Format: Hybrid (online training + in-person sessions)

Location: WIECO Bildungszentrum, Wipsch 15, 56130 Bad Ems & online

Creating professional application documents (CV, cover letter)

Job search and online application strategies

Objectives & Outcomes

After completing the course, participants will be able to:

Clearly define their professional strengths and skills

Identify suitable career fields

Create professional application documents

Present themselves confidently in interviews

Take targeted steps toward employment or vocational training

Language

The course is held in German.
If needed, additional support in Russian is available.

Funding & Costs

Participation is 100% free of charge with an Activation and Placement Voucher (AVGS) from the Employment Agency or Jobcenter.
If you don’t yet have an AVGS, we’ll gladly assist you with the application process.

Certificate

After successful completion, participants receive a WIECO Certificate, confirming their newly acquired skills and qualifications.
